WHO ARE WE?
It was suggested by a recent client (Hi Eileen!), that we should have our pictures and work descriptions on our website to reassure new clients that the person attending the meeting, is the same person that’s on the site. Great idea...So here we are!
Scott and Justyna are a husband and wife team. Whilst Scott provides the face to face advice and holds the individual specialist approvals, Justyna double checks each case recommendations, arranges our compliance and executes the sale and purchase instructions.
Scott read Law (LLB Hons) and fell into financial advice through his Trusts dissertation. He has achieved the Advanced Diploma in Trusts and Advanced Diploma in Pension Transfer qualifications. He is a registered Pension Transfer Specialist with the FCA, which authorises us to work with every type of pension contract. Scott also holds CeMap I, II & III mortgage qualifications and the Chartered Insurance Institute Equity Release permissions.
Gardening (badly) and golf (worse still) are Scott's chosen pastimes. He tries to grow vegetables and has been told that there are far too many houseplants to maintain. He is a country member of LLandrindod Wells GC and full member of The Worcestershire GC and is always happy for an excuse for a game with clients.
Justyna read Business (BA Hons) through her employment as a Project Specialist at General Electric, where she had worked in the offshore division. Her hobbies are reading, walking local mountain trails and photography.
We hold the relevant regulatory (FCA) permissions to work in our chosen arena of Pensions, Regulated Investments, Protection, Mortgages and Equity Release.
For us, the client's interests came first. It made sense that the moral obligation to do the right thing in all steps would breed success as referrals would result.
Justyna joined Scott from her post in 2018 to enable more efficient switches, withdrawals and top-ups. Her expertise in organising parts from worldwide suppliers within tight deadlines, with attention to detail, has proven very useful at clarifying contract information from old policies.
Two sets of eyes are always better than one, so Justyna double-checks each individual case thoroughly before submission to ensure healthy compliance sign-off.
